Students first pick a company in the first week of the course. Each week students learn how to analyze various aspects of the company in the B8010 “Fundamental Analysis for Investors, Managers and Entrepreneurs” course at the Columbia Business School.
The analysis starts by studying how the company provides value to customers. This includes understanding the company’s strategy, positioning, etc. Each week, one line item of the company’s financials is studied.
