A resume interview is a type of interview in which an interviewee is quizzed about his resume. The interviewer is just trying to ensure that the interviewee really has all the skills that he or she has professed to have.
The most important things to note are:
Be prepared to answer any question about any skills that you have mentioned in your resume. For instance, if an interviewee has mentioned on his resume that he is fluent in a particular language, the interviewer may break off in between into that language and expect the interviewee to follow suit. Or if you have mentioned responsibility for a specific area in your resume, say for example market research, the interviewer will probably ask you a few technical questions on the topic to evaluate your knowledge.
Don’t lie on your resume. Most interviewers can read body language cues and will know once you try to talk about something that you have not done but is mentioned on your resume.
Practise with as many people as you can before you go in for your interview. Take note of those questions that you can’t answer well during your practice interviews and work on your answers.
